The role of women in society has been greatly overseen in the last few decades. In the early days women were seen as wives who were intended to cook, clean, and take care of the kids. They were not allowed to vote while men took care of having jobs and paying any bills that had to be paid.
To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize. So are men the ones that are not allowed to be criticized these days? Seems we have lots of T.V. programs constantly bashing men and saying how useless and child li.
But still in some parts of the world women are criticized and not able to perform, the recent assassination of former and the first women president of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, which shocked the entire world (New York Times, 2008). Many influential women around the world are assassinated for dominating men.
